His article says "Exception Occured? - Get Troubleshooting tips from your favorite blogs". Hence CodeProject is testing whether it works or not.
BTW, I can confirm that too. The page is throwing "NullReferenceException".

Just wondering about the list of recent reputation points. In the Item column, when it is a Forum Message listed, the subject of the message is displayed as a link to the message. However in my current list it also contains Forum Message follwed not by a link but simply the text " 3722202". Does this mean that the message has been removed/deleted, but the rep points for it are still included in my total? Thanks.

AFAIK message/vote deletion gets handled correctly. I just did a simple test: adding a message gave one more line in the history, with +1 point, and a message title; then removing the message changed that line: the message title got replaced by the message number, and a new rep table entry was added with the same content, however -1 points. All seems fine.
I did not test with votes attached, however in my experience that works too. Which sometimes is a pity: when I comment on an article-needing-approval, and wen the comment gets upvoted, later on the article gets updated and approved, the message and its votes are lost. So approvers don't get awarded, their work is pro deo!

Do you not mean Pro Bono?

No that is not what I meant, although both are probably OK here. Both are Latin, and mean without reward; for me pro deo is for the good of a specific party (e.g. an attorney defending someone who can't afford him), whereas pro bono is for the good of the community in general. Judging an article is for the good of the author (he gets feedback), and when the article is good and gets approved, only then it becomes good for the community.

Thanks Luc. Your answer is as usual, superb. Thanks.

In advanced apologise me if that bug in on bug list, the only I saw related is the bug "voting should send notifications".
I confirmed some days ago my email address, but still dont receive all email notifications (answers and comments on posted threads). Some days I receive, others dont. If I had to guess I'll say I receive about 20% email notifications I should receive.
Can I do something ?
|
|
|

You only receive notifications for reply's to your threads, questions, answers, etc...
Make sure your allowed sites in your e-mail config allows for *@codeproject.com
|
|
|
|
|
Of course, I know.
If I had *@codeproject.com blocked in my email config I didnt receive any email, and the problem is: sometimes I receive (when someone replies to a question (created by me), and sometimes I dont.

Well, the title covers it all I think. When you click on the "Stats" tab (between "Browse Code" and "Revisions") the error "Page Not Found" is shown with some suggestions about articles on it.

and the three article suggestions are constant and not useful in the context.

Would it be possible to increase the width of the input box for adding/editing questions.
Muchos gracias!

Why, it scrolls you know.

I know it scrolls...I just want more real estate to work with. It's a nit-picking request anyway.

that is just silly, and a mistake Microsoft continues to make. What is the value of a big monitor when the action is in a tiny window, small enough to fit on a dumbphone? Input fields should be resizable, and their size should default to its earlier value. Always and everywhere.

Done (I've made it fit the available width). The code will be uploaded in a day or so.
