Either:
1. Put the Java forum back in the list, or
2. Remove it altogether.
The current situation is kinda comical.

On pages such as this[^], how about a filter so that we can view only articles with a rating of X or higher?
|
|
|
|
|
Hmmm... each section is sorted by rating, so ignoring everything below your threshold isn't a problem (but I guess you noticed that already)

Sure, but it could save bandwidth and download time, at the very least. Plus, it would filter out a lot of fluff, thereby reducing clutter on pages with tons of articles, many of which are sub-par.
Not a necessity, just a nice-to-have.

The forum code doesn't detect IE 7 Beta 1. Instead of the DHTML view I'm used to from IE 6, I get the non-DHTML version.

Separate forums concerning programming languages from forums about different techniques and the more general chitchat forums. Something like this for an example;
C#
C++/CLI
Visual C++
Visual Basic / VB.NET
.NET Framework
ASP.NET
ATL / WTL / STL
COM
SQL / ADO / ADO.NET
VS.NET IDE issues
XML / XSL
Collaboration / Testing
Embedded / Mobile
Operating Systems / SysAdmin
The Soapbox - off-topic rants
Work Issues / Certification / Resumes
Web Development
Article Requests and Ideas
General Discussions
Hardware
The Lounge

I have posted a topic, Remote Desktop posted a different Display[^] at C++/CLI forum.
However, I think I've posted it in the wrong forum and moreover there's no respond. I should have post it in Visual C++ forum instead.
Is there a way to move my topic to the Visual C++ forum?
Thanks:->

Best way is to delete and repost in the correct forum.Only admin has the right to move a post AFAIK.. I know that some inappropriate Lounge posts were moved to Soapbox by Chris

Thanks Agni
Is it okay to repost at Visual C++ forum without deleting the previous one at C++/CLI?

Hello,
I think it would be a good idea to create a business of software forum, appropiate for questions about marketing, maybe finances, people managment, and other aspects of running a software business.
I know there are several out there, but with all the smart people here, some of them business owner, I believe we could make a good resource.

This one is different, not the love forum I suggested before.
I'm still not sure that asking programmers for love issues is a good idea.
