Hi All/Chris,
I'd like to suggesting spliting Bug and Suggestions. Keep Suggestions as a Forum, and spin off Bugs into a front end for the internal bug tracker tool (is it Remedy or TrackIt?).
It appears some bug reports/help requests are dropped. I attribute this to a 'falling off the radar'. Also, this might save some CP overhead with respect to transcribing a forum bug report into an internal ticket.

Bug reports and requests aren't being dropped. We track them internally.
There's no way we can handle every bug and request at the rate at which they have been coming in for the last week so it's entirely natural that it will seem like they aren't being attended to.
We are prioritising everything in order.

a new page asking for a password anyway.

Yes, because that message was posted when the member was logged out (or had been kicked out - looks like a bug to me) so, since there's no memeber, the boards show the edit/delete buttons and will ask you for a password

The message's author name is present, so shouldn't he, and no one else, get the edit/delete buttons?

How do we know it's him? As in: really him? We can't go by name because names can be changed. We have to offer members a way to edit and then do a password challenge

Sorry Chris, you have lost me completely here.
The message looks like all others, it has author, subject and body. But when I read it,
I get voting buttons and edit/delete buttons. Why would it have to be any different from
all the other messages? mine show edit/delete and no vote to me, others show vote but no edit/delete.
I assume the author is in the database, and the reader's ID is known from the login, so
how can there be confusion or uncertainty?

If you hover over one of the links in the All messages box on the homepage, it will tell you that the message was posted by the text of the message rather than by the poster.

Maybe this already exists and I'm just missing it, but it would be nice to have the ability with CP to "subscribe" to an article and receive an email whenever it was updated. This would really help in the instances of when an article deals with a code component and the author puts out an updated version.
If this does already exists, please reply with how to do it.

What this site really needs is a gadget article section and message board. And by gadgets I don't mean rubbishy javascript clocks and what not, but cool gadgets like The GP32x F-200[^] and Micro 'copters with frickin' laser beams[^] that people might actually want.

Is there something going on with article images? I have had several instances where screen shots are not being displayed. Specifically this article, http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/GlobalizationSample.aspx[^] coming from server Web 17 doesn't come with images

Why does my sig display differently when I put the code directly in a message? Notice that the gap between the top border of box and the first line of text in the signature is considerably SMALLER than the way it's displayed in the actual signature.
