You so totally hiccuped on the first one. It's the only explanation.
(However, I have another suspicion. Your experiment has narrowed it down nicely. Thank you)

Chris, sometimes when entering the lounge page it switches me to layout expanded, without me telling it to show that view. It's happened twice so far. Probably and init/load method.

Can you send me a screenshot next time please?

I'm finding the See Also... sidebar next to article to be getting more and more useful when I'm looking for something.

Hello,
I was receiving CodeProject newletters at my old email account and I would like them sent to the email account that I currently use with CodeProject. Can someone please help me to arrange that I receive the Daily Insider newsletter at this email?
Thank you

If you're using a different CP account with your new email (which it sounds like you're doing), just subscribe to the newsletter with your new account.

The account I am sign into is associated with the proper email and when I go to the Daily Insider link on the CP website there is a discalimer stating that I am currently subscribed to the newsletter. However I do not recieve them at this email.

You might want to check your SPAM filter. Some email providers filter it out. My account at GMX did it until I put an exception for codeproject in place.

Thanks, however I have cxheck my spam and junk mail folders. I am not receiving anythign from COde Project at the email address associated with this account.
Is there anyway to unscribe from the newsletter and then resubscribe. I would think this may effectively reset the suubscription address to the one currently associated with the account.

Go to "MySettings" on the tab register "Newsletter" here you can uncheck the newsletter options. Save your settings and then try to re-register.

OK, that is exactly what I was looking for, except I cannot seem to find it. Perhaps I am blinded by to much looking.
THe only tabs I see are Home, Articles, Questions and Answers, Learning Zones, Features, and Help!
In none of the drop downs do I see an item entitled Newsletters or My Settings. The closest I see under the features tabs is "Newsletter Archive".

In the right upper corner of the browswer screen you can see your name. When you hover the mouse over it a little menu drops down. From that menu you can select "My Settings" which will take you to the page with the tab registers on it. Newsletter should be the second counted from the left. Then you'll see all the Newsletter options.

I think all other work on the site should be stopped until this situation has been resolved. I see this as slightly worse than the recent exhaustion of available IPV4 addresses...
I'm sure we can find a reason that global warming caused this problem.

OK, but how does it rate in comparison, say, to a problem with rep points?

I'd have to say reputation points are THE most important part of the whole site. More specifically, *MY* reputation points are more important.

Well that goes without saying.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.
My latest tip/trick

I think this may be the result of having a rather dull & drab avatar on your home page.
I must get a clever new signature for 2011.

I read that a little too fast, and thought you said "Vibrator"...

I've gathered together a crack fact finding team that organised several committees. The consultants engaged on behalf of the committees to investigate this issue liased with several industry experts and agreed, after several further meetings, many of which extended into the dinner hour and so, understandably, incurred certain related expenses, that yes, your icon in the forums is not the associate icon.
This is by design. We never had the chance to expand the associate program in the way we planned so until that point it will be a profile-only badge.

Some forums have dedicated pages setup for them. Most use a standard, generic page.

Ah, so you probably use the number like a query string parameter (I'm guessing by using a server-side rewrite). Just an idea... you could shorten the URL (and remove the number) by storing the forum name in the database and associating it with the ID you seem to currently be using. That would also prevent things like this:
http://www.codeproject.com/Forums/1649/ASP-NET.aspx (actually points to the C# forum)
