Manually - I've not seen it clear itself.

It just did it again - switched to "C#6" this time.
I cleared it, pressed "Update", the page refreshed, and ... it was back at "C#6"
I'll leave alone in case it can give more info later.

Was there a querystring in the URL of the page you were viewing?

Not sure, Chrome has been open for a few days (on my Surface) - probably from a bookmark originally, but that just has the tab query:
https://www.codeproject.com/script/Answers/List.aspx?tab=unanswered
It will have been refreshed a lot, and many links followed though!

It happened again.
I cleared it, pressed "Update", the page refreshed.
I loaded a "clean" copy from the menu "quick answers ... View Unanswered Questions" (so a refresh wouldn't give me the "resubmit" warning next time.
All fine.
Ten minutes later, I refresh and ...
It's switched to a new one on me: "Architect", but with no obvious query string setting.

Looks good! Now just make sure you add your blog to our list as well: Add Your Technical Blog[^]

Thanks Sean.
That is already configured. The one configured, has the following as last polled: 29-Jun-20 9:46
Feed set there: Sandeep Mewara 's Tech Journal!

Finally, I see it pulled in now. Thanks for the help.

I replied this message[^] of @raddevus and he answered me back (Notification Email says 8,5 hours ago).
But none of the messages (mine or his) are visible...
(I don't know if he deleted his message, but I didn't)
A bit of server lag is ok, but I think that's a little bit too much
I have landed in Web02 and in Web05, both have no messages
Solved: They came in the last 30 minutes.

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you
Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

We were having some issues with our Redis servers yesterday which would have caused this problem.
This has been resolved, so everything should go back to normal.

I've been facing issues with my blog feed, which are pulled into CodeProject via the RSS feed.
In my settings I see that the "last polled" and "last updated" are 3 days old, whereas it mentions that "Blog will be polled for new content once every hour".
I have a new blog post from 2 days back and it's still not been pulled.
Can you please help me with this?

What are the titles of the blogs that are missing?
I see one from the 27th that was pulled and another from today that is waiting on review and approval.

I was happily browsing in QA and suddenly the filter changed to MongoDB, and now i cannot get rid of it. Has a hamster had a seizure?
[edit]
Now it appears to have cleared itself. But, watch this space.

[more edit]
It appears that somehow the 'tag' property in the URL got stuck and could not be removed by clearing the filter and pressing 'Update'
[/more edit]
No idea how it started but it seems OK now. (Google Chrome 83.0.4103.106)

Did you click on that tag anywhere?

I don't think so, but it is always possible that I hit a tag somewhere. But the strangest part was when I deleted the tag and clicked the Update button. The page would refresh without the tag, and then automatically put it back. Eventually I killed the page and opened a new one and that was OK. I did have a re-occurrence yesterday, but was able to clear it immediately.

This is a re-occurring issue that has been driving us crazy for a while.
The latest theory is that the hamsters have been chewing on the Redis server network cable resulting in bad data. We are trying to track this one down, but it is a tricky one.
BTW, we did have a bunch of Redis issues earlier today, which might account for any recent weirdness.

The annoying thing about this is that it only ever happens randomly and it is difficult to know whether it was started by finger trouble at this end.

Fighting with the article editor for hours, images look in the right place in the editor but don't show up at all in the preview...? Then I try it on IE and the article looks completely different from how it looked on Chrome because images are in the wrong places, like... some images are missing but other images are included twice... so many other glitches, too many to list here... image properties can make the page unresponsive for minutes on end, what is even... I mean, how it possibly be this bad... I don't even know where to begin to report this bug except to say, NOTHING WORKS...? ? ? Is anybody working on fixing any of this?

Hey Gary,
We have hundreds of articles posted and edited each week and the majority seem to work fine (and we ourselves use it daily)
Do you have any ad blocking extensions (or otherwise, such as uBlock) that could be messing with the browser?
If you send me the URL of the article I'll gladly dive in and take a look.
cheers

Workaround was I deleted the article and started over this time hosting the images on my server and linking to them. This seemed to work a lot cleaner. The problems mostly seemed to revolve around pasting images into the editor. Some of the images I pasted got stored and linked properly, some didn't and there didn't seem any obvious way to get it sorted out. The editor and the preview didn't agree about what image belonged where. Sometimes preview shows the wrong image, sometimes it shows nothing. Somehow when you paste images into an article, it's possible for that to get out of synch... sometimes they never show up in the image list... anyway never mind it, paste image does not seem to work reliably but I have a workaround now.
