We are investigating something that has suddenly increase load on the SQL Server just about the time you had issues.
Despite the extra load, everything seems to be running fine otherwise.
Hopefully, whatever happened is transient.

Who's Who at CodeProject[^] has a sorting problem that appears to be far more than transient. Five on that page are way out of sequence.

This is the same issue that Nelek has pointed out below.

It looks like the message counter (the little red box before rep) doesn't stay in sync with the messages. I'm seeing a new message in the list when I hover over it but the counter hasn't changed.
EDIT
The counter was incremented something like 5 minutes later so there seems to be a delay.

That counter is cached for 5 mins. It should be an easy fix to get that real time.

Hi Chris,
I vote for real time, unless it drain server resources.
Question: Is there an easy possibility to see more than top 5 experts from monthly list in Q&A ?
I guess the query is run every 4 hours because it is resource hungry, so just reading result after top 5 should be rather armless.
Or should I go CP API ?

While doing todays SAOTD I have notized some members where the whole reputation labels are missing.
I would say I saw around 25 accounts as these in 15 pages of Who is Who, mostly in blocks (2 or 3 at least in a row)

Thanks, you have pointed out that we need to run the aggregation against old accounts as well.
All the levels of aggregation are not consistent for all accounts. The aggregator currently fixes up accounts that are being used, so we will be doing a full re-aggregation as soon as I update the code.

I've re-aggregated ALL the Member Reputations. I think you'll find the Who's Who look like it is in the correct order and that the Rep Points are correct.

Neither of these are bugs, but I don't think they're intended behavior:
- There is now a very noticeable delay--many minutes--until reputation points are updated.
- Today I mistakenly reflagged all the accounts in yesterday's SAOTD[^] for spam. Although I don't think I received any points for this, each action was nonetheless added to my Reputation History[^], something that never used to occur when such an action did not result in any points.
|
|
|

We are now using an eventually consistent model for refreshing Reputation Points.
The background aggregator runs every 15 minutes, so there will be a delay.

Hi all,
Yesterday my rep points were 191K, suddenly, my rep points are gone with the hamsters and I am 0.
