I would say it is a try to bypass the spam saying I want to do business with you, but just in case it is a genuine request... I'll nuked the question but not reported the user.
You can always nuke him if it was a lie.

If it happens again, then a screenshot would probably help the hamsters know what "looking weired" might mean. (I have no idea how a smiley can resemble a small waterfall / dam).
You can take one with WINKEY+SHIFT+S and highlight the area, and use it in a bug report by pasting. (Pasting images only works in a few forums for safety):
Makes it a lot easier to see visual problems ...
Bear in mind that inappropriate images will almost certainly get you banned with extreme prejudice!

In all new registered members there are not counters for the reputation classes as it used to.

I had a missing index required for speed queries on the Reputation History table.
All fixed

Still missing.
Who's Who at CodeProject[^]
Go for order by ID (desc). All new members still missing them, the old members have it though
Are they not visible because of "0"?

I've looked at the Who's Who and don't see any missing Rep.
However, from the timestamp on you message, it is possible there were database timeouts due to backup. This might have resulted in it appearing that Rep was missing.
It is also possible that members created during this time may have not had their Rep recorded due to the same database issues.
I'm currently looking at how to improve our database performance now that we are running on SQL 2019.

I am not saying anything about missing rep.
I am telling about the counters. I mean...
versus...
Some weeks ago, it didn't matter if the user has any rep or plain "0" (zero) or even negative reputation (specially by trolls when downvoted) the counters were always visible.
Like 3 or 4 weeks ago, this behaviour changed

I posted this message less than two hours ago: The Lounge[^]
And then decided to rework it and post it as a tip: Finding my network shares on SMB1 drives after the Windows 10 2004 update.[^]
But the home page articles display says it was published 6 hours ago ...
Is one of them on Canadian time?

Yeah, it looks like a time zone thing.

History is being recorded, but points haven't updated since maybe Sat Aug 22 @ 9:30am EDT.
EDIT: Death of background thread?
EDIT: See post below. It might be a cache issue (Firefox).

Same for me.

Go to your Members page and hit Reputation tab and, in the far right corner of the graph "Reputation" where just outside the display panel in the graph's frame you see a checkmark image (refresh.svg) ... next to the time displayed in realtime local I guess ... click on that image, the reputation points will update.
|
|
|
|
|
I'm running Firefox, where it displays as a not-quite-full circle that ends with an arrow. Clicking on it did nothing, just like the other times I tried to see if it would do something.
EDIT: I logged out and logged back in using Edge, and all the points appeared, so it could be a cache issue. It wasn't that way before, however.

I was missing an index needed for speedy queries of the Reputation History.
Fixed.

The hamster wheel that powers this has seized up again, since maybe 12:30 EDT. 🐹⚙️
EDIT: It just came unstuck.

Not to worry if it the aggregator misses you on a pass. As you do things that add Rep, it will aggregate your Rep again.

Rep points total cached for 8 hours !
Is it normal ?

I don't think it's normal, but the history updates immediately and the points eventually get added on.

Agreed and usually total rep updated 5-10 minutes after.
This time Last action 15:30 and total rep updated at 23:30.

Occasionally when the refresh for the rep history page fails, an error message is shown that contains a small typo.
Obviously not a high priority issue
