No points were harmed in the Correction.

We had a bit of code. A tiny bit of code. It ran something like

if Points > 0
   Set RepPoints = Points.

This was meant to be a sanity check, but insanity is the norm and people can actually have negative points. I removed the "> 0" check and updated those members who actually have negative points so they, in fact, have negative points.

That's ok, but if there is no voting system now, how can be the point 29 comes to -18.

And another thing is it is not increasing from that instant. I am posting messages here since yesterday, but the Debator points seems unaffected. Frown | :(

Oh ok Chris. Thanks for the information.

But don't you think that we should get an entry in Reputation History or is that the thing you are working on?

And is there an issue with the individual points showing in Profile page?
Because the Debator Points still showing -18.

Also the same issue with Editor Points.

If you think these are bugs, then look at them, otherwise please ignore, as others think that I am the person who is obsessed by Reputation, which is not true.

I'm not sure what you mean. You do have entries in your rep history - these are what, when added up, give you your negative point total.

Yes, there is a page whose title is "Reputation History for Tadit Dash", in which all the reputation points change is mentioned.

I am asking if somebody downvoted any message of mine, and the point reached to -18, then that action should appear in that list, isn't it?

And the individual points in the profile [^] page also not increasing for Debator, Editor. It is showing the old values.

Your rep list only shows the last 200 events. Your rep graph shows all points, and it's clear that in late September your points dipped well below 0 points.

Please stop dwelling on the points, and instead ask yourself "why are people voting me down". Learn from that, understand how to interact with the community, and it benefits everyone. Mostly you.

Sorry, but I am not obsessed by reputation.
I am just reporting these, because this is the forum for Bugs and Suggestions.
Except reputation issues, I have also reported other issues and suggestions.

And if you think that this is not a bug for CP, then it is completely fine with me.

As a member of CP, I think that, if I came across any issues, I should report that.

Hi....

I have come across the point that is when we are voting in the surveys there are Articals list is mention, so can we make the facility to check only one check box at a time.

I'm really not sure what you're saying, but my closest guess is that you want the "Best article" voting form (eg http://www.codeproject.com/script/Surveys/VoteForm.aspx?srvid=1397[^]) to be single choice, not multiple choice.

If this is the case then no, sorry, multiple choice is how it will stay.

I am talking about "Best article" voting form.
I can able to select multiple check boxes.Under that list it should select only one Check box.It will remove the confusion of the end user,That for which artical he/she has been voted

The article vote section clearly states that you can vote for multiple articles. This is a fair and reasonable thing to do because you may have more than one article that you think is worthy of a vote. Rather than force you to ignore a great article, this approach lets you recognise it.

Think it's broken for everyone... doesn't work in IE9 either...

Edit: Seems to be Web01... Web03 is fine. (so is Web02)

First of all, it is NOT about the reputation points. I am just speaking about them, because it pointed me out a possible malfunction.

I think the Web02 Server is a bit on his own. While using CP I have noticed that my reputation was changing. I payed attention and the difference was about 60 points. Since I am not so active the last days, that 60 points could make a difference of a week or two.

I have been refreshing the forums some times in a row. When I land in Web02 this forum is missing half page and the reports forum is missing 4 or 5 messages.

Not sure if other servers are having the same issue, I only noticed it when landing in Web02. I just noticed there is a Release or ID Number next to the server. I'll pay attention and write it down if I land there another time.

I don't have a idea is this the best place to post this question. Is there anyway to report about the incorrect down voting for a Answer?

Recently I gave a answer for one of the question, and I hope someone down voted my answer without verifying it. Is there anyway to correct this type of issue? Frown | :(
