Hi editors,
Can I request a feature of having a poll in article forum? I want to add a validator to my XML library but either DTD or Schema is not trivial to implement. I was thinking if there is a way to poll my reader opinion on this. Please keep this in consideration when thinking of new features to add to CodeProject. Thanks!

I have published an article on An autocompletion algorithm with use of “popularity factor”[here]
The article looks OK. But I cannot open a file attached to it here
I get the following error message:
.........
Ticket: (No ticket provided - possibly an error in the error-system)
Error: An error occurred in this page. The error has been recorded and the site administrator informed.
Abort, Retry, Fail?_

Looks like your upload failed. Any chance you could re-upload your files? Alternatively just send them to submit@codeproject.com with the article URL and we'll take care of it.

I had to delete some of my articles, well, OK. Looked fine but their previous versions remained available. Could you help me with removing of them?
I know only about this prev version of article still available:
http://www.codeproject.com/script/Articles/ArticleVersion.aspx?aid=552879&av=800548
But there might be more, which is not what I need.
Final version of articles had addresses:
http://www.codeproject.com/Tips/560010/User-SID-of-thread-in-kernel-driver
http://www.codeproject.com/Tips/575581/Cplusplus-WMI-Provider-with-Exa
http://www.codeproject.com/Tips/552879/Tiny-ASN1-General-Parser
Is there something like secure delete?
Thank you for help.

begin edit:
I just tried clicking "Improve Solution" on the deleted QA response, and pasting back in the text of the response: that appeared to have restored the response.
... end edit ...
Hi, tonight I wrote a rather lengthy answer to this QA question: [^].
I then went back and tested the code one more time, and ... perhaps being a bit burned-out ... forgot I had changed the code to write to the Console for testing, and got paranoid there was something wrong my code ... So I removed the answer.
Now that I have somewhat regained sanity, and realized the code's okay, I'd like to re-enter the response, but CP seems to have had enough of me, and pasting the answer back in ... while "accepted" ... doesn't restore the answer.
Perhaps there's a required waiting period in honor of the recently euthanized post before reincarnation ?
Or, perhaps this is hamster-foo to prevent sneaky folks from pasting the same response in multiple times in an attempt to fill the dirigible of their reputation with methane, and soar further aloft ?
thanks, Bill
"What Turing gave us for the first time (and without Turing you just couldn't do any of this) is he gave us a way of thinking about and taking seriously and thinking in a disciplined way about phenomena that have, as I like to say, trillions of moving parts.
Until the late 20th century, nobody knew how to take seriously a machine with a trillion moving parts. It's just mind-boggling." Daniel C. Dennett

Okay, this is a weird one. I can save my tip[^] as Composing, but I can't save it as Published. Am I not able to publish my tips directly anymore? As an additional weirdness, it's appearing in the latest articles despite the status being composing.

When I post a message with General message type then edit the post message type let us say Joke this message do not appear under Latest joke box and do not show after in the filter in the Lounge. Same thing happen for all message types.
You can check the test I performed here[^]

I wouldn't call that a bug. The 'Latest' boxes are for latest posts in their respective forums. Not recently edited posts.

It will, but it takes time since those lists are cached.

Hi everyone,
I published my first article on Code Project , Post an article on Code Project using Submission Page.
My articles contains several images and before my article was released I could see them in my preview; after my article has been published, in tag image href attribute has been added the prefix MyNumberArticle/Working but images are not visible .
What's it wrong? How can I fix the problem?
Thanks,
Mauro

I'm sorry, my article images are still blank ; now the root for Image URL is MyArticleNumber (690031), so Image URL=690031/myfilename.png. My filename.png is in my Current Files section when I in edit mode

I think you and I might be stepping on each others toes as we dance around this article
I'm pretty sure I got all the images on it correctly now, but I had to conjure a couple that did not exist on any version. Our article wizard weirdness should be fixed now, so you can feel free to jump in there and replace those two images with your own, or you can email them to me and I can upload them for you.
Thanks,
Sean Ewington

Hi Sean,
thank you to take care of my article.
I've seen your two uploaded images that replaced mine; in my previous draft I've uploaded two files with that name, but for what you wrote to me, probably you can't see them. Your two images are very similar to my images, so I think it's better, for avoiding any problem, leaving yours.
Best Regards,
Mauro
