Please see my other comment. It also happens when you try to manually write HTML...

The problem appeared exactly today. I know that, because it happened during posting of one my solution: first part with one link worked correctly, but adding two more links screwed up them in all next versions trying to work around it.
In addition to what you said, it you correctly add a link manually in HTML text, it can be screwed up when you added it.
Probably this work-around still works: If you edit a whole post in a separate editor and past is "as is", it still works. The key here is: in this case you include some text outside the anchors; it effectively switches off the flawed algorithm". I'm not 100 sure yet; please try.
[EDIT]
No, my work-around described above does not work anymore. Sorry. We badly need a fix on the site code.

Me too, but only seems to be in QA. Forums seem to be OK.

Really? Hope it's the transition period; all tools should better work in the same way.
Thank you for the note.

I take that back. Forums also seem to have the problem.

yep, its broke. I'll get on it. Shouldn't let Chris 'fix' things just before he takes some time off.

Please also note that I also tried to work around it by providing equivalent anchors in the comment to the answer. The anchors was screwed up, too.
Some links in the answer post came out correctly after the post, and others, apparently looking of the same type, were screwed up. I failed to spot the difference.

Hi,
I unsubscribed to the Daily Build Newsletter yesterday, but still got a newsletter today.

Can you please forward me (chris@codeproject.com) the newsletter you received? Was it the Daily Build or a different newsletter?
If you only recently unsubscribed you have unsubscribed after the newsletters for today had already started sending. In any case I've checked your account and you're not subscribed to any newsletters so please let me know if you get any further newsletters.
cheers

The tip ng-bind vs {{ }} in AngularJs[^] was in moderation and I voted 1 with a comment. While posting the comment it got updated by a CP-Editor and then my vote was vanished.
Does editors' edit have a rollback function or similar? Or was it just because of the "simultan" actions?
Just curious. I don't mind about my vote, the comment is still there.
Edit:
I just noticed that after that edit it got automatically approved and is not in the approval list anymore.
Might be that the high-reputation of the editor just got it published without moderation?. Or is that supposed to be like that?

If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about?
Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you

Approvals require a fixed number of approves, or a single admin.
Comments on pending items are attached to that version. On edit, those comments stay with the previous version. This ensure we don't have tons of "you have broken images" messages on articles.

Well, not quite. These are all fake accounts that have been created.

But you can login with them...May the hamsters should kick them out...

Yes you can, but they are fake accounts. To be honest, I don't see what they are bringing to the table as it's just as easy for you to create an account.
|
|
|

I suppose those accounts are for those who want to download files and don't want to create an account and go through a registration process (I don't know if you still have to be logged in to download files but this was the reason why I originally signed up)

Hi,
Was told to mention this here I did a Yahoo search (by mistake I was aiming for Google) and the following link came up http://codeproject.eu/[^]
Which I am pretty sure infringes on something hereabouts.

Interesting question indeed : Is it a copyright infringement to use a domain codeproject."something" ? Did you register every subdomain ? Probably not, because otherwise the names would not be available for other to use.

I think there is issue with the word Codeproject. I don't know much about such legal issues but i think we have ® in the Logo thats why others can not use them.

I just got a downvote on this massage - http://www.codeproject.com/Lounge.aspx?msg=4906070#xx4906070xx[^]
As it impossible to downvote in the Lounge via UI, I think it related to the fact that someone reported my post as abusive...
It is by design?
