So how was the flight? Long?
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?

Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

Bloody awful. I never sleep. Ever. Except this time when I slept through dinner. 14hrs with no food made for grumpy me.

Hmm. Technically we don't raise the dead in these situations, but I already raised it.

I have not received a Daily Insider email since 1/13. It's kind of part of my daily ritual. Are other people receiving them? Is there a problem with the server?
Thanks,
Scott

There was a problem last week[^] where the email went out late. Since then, I've received it on time every weekday.

Thanks very much for your email. I have sent you an email confirmation request which should help resolve the issue. Please let me know if you receive it OK.
Also, please let me know if any of these are the issue:

Sean,
Thanks for the assist. I received the email confirmation request and confirmed my email. I'll let you know in the morning if I receive the newsletter.
I looked at the FAQ and I don't think any of those are the problem.
Thanks again!
Scott

Hello,
in the mailout from 1/18/2016 you recommend to readers, without further discussion, to move their code to online repositories because those repositories supposedly keep your code safe. Your article listed three specific services and to be honest, I cannot judge their "hacker proofness" and disaster recovery plans.
However, I'd like to remind everybody what can happen to code repository services, even those that claim redundancy and distribution across three continents:
Hacker puts hosting service Code Spaces out of business | Threatpost[^]
For those of you too busy to read, a hacker compromised Code Space's back-end, demanded money, and then deleted almost everything hosted, including back-ups, once he or she noticed they were trying to take counter measures. I personally lost a valuable code repository hosted by Code Spaces during that attack, and of course I had not taken a backup anytime recently. In fact, I was not aware of a way to take "off-service" backups of repositories automatically and easily at the time.
Long story short, even if you think your code is safer with a hosting service than on your PC or in your local network, if you value your code you still need to do regular backups to another location (I'd recommend to a storage medium that you physically own).
Regards, Christoph

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
That's a good point, and any file hosting service worth their salt is going to implement offsite, disconnected backups.

I am not sure if this is a bug or is it by design. But when I look at the RSS feed of someone's articles', I see the views field value as 0 always.
<views>0</views>
Could anyone shed some light on whether is it a bug or is this behavior by design?

I noticed that on two of my articles I have three comments that where posted a week ago. I did not receive an email for any of them. I like to respond quickly to my readers.
