I heard Chris was working on a subtle way to get rid of unwanted members.

When did this start? I've been updating all day today (after a bit of a break over the last couple of weeks) so please let me know if it's still happening.

It's stable on my various PCs. The only thing that keeps logging me out now is my phone.

This started happening to me today. Google Chrome 65.0.3325.181 (Official Build) (64-bit) (cohort: Stable) , Windows 10. Could it be a cookie getting lost?

And it happened twice on my PC yesterday.

You don't have any add-ins or extensions (eg ad blockers) do you?

No, I don't. As this happens for me on both my phone and PC, it's a frustrating little bug.

Is there any pattern you can see? Does it happen only after being idle for, say, 20 mins or more?

There's no pattern I can discern.

I'm using Firefox, when I click on the version number (v2, v3, ...) the page just refresh. Is that the expected behavior?

Weeks? It's coming up on three months since I first reported it[^], and it had already been a problem for a while at that point.

I had this fixed. I've deployed. It's not fixed.
It works on my machine.
Still on the TODO.

When hovering over your answer, on the right side where your name is located, you should find "Improve question" link. This opens a new page where yu can see the original question and edit your answer.
The original question is shown a bit differently compared to what it looks like when not editing so don't get confused by that. You should find your answer in an editable text box when you scroll down the page.
