This is happening again, I am afraid. The comment gets posted (well actually it just disappears) but does not show on the question, even after refresh. But if I go to My Comments I can see it there. So I click View, and it takes me to the QA entry but the comment still does not show up.

I'm having the same problem! Anyone have a solution? I'm in the middle of a discussion with Luc and his messages and mine have all just mysteriously disappeared???

No solution - they must still exist in the data, somewhere, since they show on one's messages posting list. I even had a reply to a message - hit my mailbox and I clicked "The Lounge" link and it went to semi-nowhere.

I'm seeing it right now too. Seems to have begun within the last hour or so for me.

There is something strange going on with our Redis server, or more likely the client that connects to it.
I seems to have corrected itself, but I'm going to keep my eye on this to if I can catch what is causing it.

On the home paghe, I can see the thread in the recent threads list, but when I click on it, it doesn't actually show up in the lounge...

Making threads disappear is a trick to make you yarn for them.

I suspect it's related to this: Missing Messages[^] which was a Redis problem, apparently.

It looks like we has some issues with our Redis server earlier today. It has refreshed and seems to be working well now.

Today, both my recent posts, few hours back, have disappeared. One was in S&A and the other one in Bugs & suggestions.
So unfortunately this seems to happen again...
EDIT:
Just checked and I can see the messages in "My messages", but not in the forums.

I've had a few notifications today for comments in QA, but when I go to the page they don't appear.

That's probably Google trying to "not show data" to avoid privacy concerns

I suspect you can thank Google for that. Looking at the source in Fiddler, the page title is set to "YouTube":
They're probably using Javascript to update the title once you load the page. They're obviously using something else to grab the title to display in their own search results. If I was paranoid, I'd be inclined to think they were trying to make it harder for their competitors to index YouTube videos.
