For some time, there are some issues with voting and sorting answers in Quick Answers:
- When voting, the vote is cast, but the stars are not immediately updated. I think this has already been reported some time ago.
- Accepted answers are not longer shown on top. They are just sorted like if they are normal answers.
[Edit] Answers with one star are shown on top now, but they should be shown on bottom.

In the list of questions in Quick Answers, the links to the questions have an ?arn=N query string, where N is the position of the question in the list.
What's goal of this? If it doesn't have a goal, can it please be removed? It is rather annoying for me because if the position of a question that I have visited changes, my browser doesn't longer count it as "visited" and doesn't longer highlight it in purple (visited-link color), but in blue.

Now you solved me the mystery of why Chrome clear visited info every few minutes...
I searched for a Chrome problem all the time and didn't noticed the change in the url!

That's from the Prev/Next links on Quick Answers. The Prev/Next depend on your current list settings. We should just store that in session...

If an article gets 5 Approve/Report votes, an article is approved/closed immediately. But this is not the case for "Needs help" reports: an article stays in the queue even after 5 of these reports. So an article with 15 Needs help reports and 5 Approve votes will still get approved, while it actually is not yet ready.
I suggest the following: if an article reaches 5 Needs help reports, remove it from the queue and send it to the Editors/Subeditors. Also put a message to the author on the top of the article, like this:
Quote: Your article has been sent to the Editors because [reason here]. Your article will be published soon after the Editors fixed the problems.

Have you reported an answer to that question, and did this report remove it? If that's the case, then it also shows your name as the latest updater.

Possible - I removed some spam answers this morning.
A quick rep check and yes, I did report and manually delete a spam answer.

You deleted a spam answer to the question and therefore updated the Q&A thread.
I reported a similar issue some time ago when my name was shown as last updater after an answer was deleted when applying the final spam report kick.

there was a link in a recent newsletter to selected html/css articles from the recent competition. i just made a mental note that it was at www.codeproject.com/learn/[something]
coming here i could not find a link to that area anywhere. have i missed it? if it's here i don't think it's obvious. may be something to look at.
(i found the trashed newsletter and the link is, http://www.codeproject.com/Learn/html/[^])

I'm trying to download the flash cards, but I keep on getting the message: "Unable sign you up and sign you in. Please confirm you have read and accepted the site's Terms of Service."
I've checked my settings and everything seems to be ok. Terms is checked.

I went there and can't even see a 'terms' check-box...

Yeah, but for someone want to download the PDF it can be a bit problematic to check something not there...

There is no checkbox on that page, I know.
I was referring to the check in "My Settings".

It has been fixed - enjoy!

Just started getting this. Did NOT sign up for it. Have tried to unsubscribe at least 3 times and yet continue to get it.
I enjoy the Daily News article, that one I did sign up for. I consider this SPAM and don't appreciate:
1) Being auto-signed up for it just because I get the Daily News
2) The unsub function not working.
Fix your sh*t. Please.
