I have a requirement to calculate amount of distance covered over a 10hour period.

The distance covered is 0.05 seconds per square kilometer

If i have the distance of the surface area lets say its 100000000.

How would i be able to calculate this

What I have tried:

not too sure how to calculate the time based on the surface area.

Do the math...

1 solution

1Km takes 0.05 seconds.
Therefore 1 second covers 20Km ==> basic maths: there are 20 * 0.05 in 1 of anything.
Therefore 1 minute = 60 * 20 ==> 60 seconds in a minute
Therefore 1 hour = 60 * 60 * 20 ==> 60 minutes in an hour
Therefore 10 hours = 10 * 60 * 60 * 20.

If you can't code that, you need to go back to the beginning and re-read all your course notes...

It's worse than that. He need to go back to math class.

I think he skipped quite a few classes on his way... :sigh:
