Hello,

I ask your opinion, how to make an application that includes a Map on which we view all Scanners installed in different cities and a color that changes for a specific event on a scanner.
Can I do it on VB or is there another language or application already made for that ??

Your question is not clear. How do you expect to get information on the status of scanners that are in different cities? How are they going to be connected to your application?

Then you need to provide more information. Who do these scanners belong to, how are they connected to your computer, etc.?

Scanners are installed by a technician at the customer office , and in our office we need a follow to these installation so in the map it will be like marks that indicate where the scanner is installed and a color if it's works fine or need to be changed , I think all that will be store in a Database from where we retrieve this informations

Use one of the existing libraries such as Google map api.

There is not space here to teach you programming. You will need to do your own research. Take a look at Google Static Maps API[^], which you could use from VB.NET or C#.

I wrote a program before with a Webbrowser which navigated to a HTML document which made use of Google Maps. It provides methods to add markers and many more useful things.
