C++ PDF Report Generator

Hi Guys,

Hope you can help with my problem.
I have a c++ service written in VC++ using MS SQL 2008 Database.

I am required to generate a PDF report based on some data and email this report once a day.

What is the best way to generate this PDF report using open source 'tools'?

I think in my earlier company, in one project they are working on converting the images to PDF(not db tables).I think they used the library Libharu(i did not remember the exact name so i used Google) http://libharu.org/wiki/Main_Page[^]
