About Baud Rate in Com Port

Hi Friends,
I am new in C++.In my Program communicates with COM Port.But My question is any relationship between Baud Rate and File size.For Example: I give a BaudRate=38400;
and my file is 102kb.is it right?Please clarify My doubts.

Solution 1

Baudrate and file size are unrelated.
Baudrate is this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baudrate[^].

You're welcome. This is just "speed", it does not effect anything but timing. Baudrate and other communication parameters on both devices connected via a serial port should match, that's all.
