I've been having issues with installing VS2010 professional...please let me know what I can do to solve this problem

What I have tried:

I read many blogs regarding this issue,but could not find the exact solution to it.I downloaded .NET framework 4..and again left me with error HRESULT 0xc8000222..now i don't know what to do..please let me know what i can do to solve it.

Be sure that you install .net 4.5.2 Full (not the Client version).

Take a look at the ".NET Framework Setup Verification tool"

If you want my advice, skip VS2010 and go for VS2012. And VS2008 if you really want an earlier version. 2010 sucks.

It tried installing VS2012 too,but again it left me with installation error.

I don't think this version has technical support from Microsoft anymore so you may want to post in a technical support forum. Or, better yet, get the newest version.
