Hello...
i am soon going to start with a wpf 3d project.
and nowadays im trying to clear all my confusions and doubts about wpf 3d.
Q.-> my 3d project will have a lot of 3d models. if i compile all of my files into a single .exe in the usual way, that file will become huge. so i want to make seperate files for the models. like in most 3d games you have 3d model files which contain the geometry of that particular model.
thanks in advance.
regards
Ratul

What I have tried:

I have done a little research about it on google.
i haven't found anything yet.

What do you mean "how"? The same way anything else is put in different files. Instead of "research on Google", you simply need develop what you want and explain it in "What I have tried", if you still have any problems.

What do you mean by "separate file"? Assembly module files of different assemblies? Then create different assemblies? What's the problem? Anything else? Then explain it.

WPF is basically a DirectX wrapper, so If you want to create games, you should go directly for DirectX and C++, as it's bound to give you better performance. WPF does a lot of things well, but running a modern day 3D game is not one of them.

1 solution

Here is one example, take a look at it and see if you can't figure something out:
