Does the role of integration engineer in telecommunication has something to do with software development, software design or architect?
If I shift from role of software developer to integration engineer, what I will lose and what will I gain? I want to plan my career in development only.

Please help as this is a take-it-or-leave-it-job-offer for me.

What I have tried:

I have looked upon this term and it says about integrating different components but at one place it also said as computer hardware engineer and i am not inclined toward it having whole experience in software development. So shall i take it or leave it

You've been offered a job but you don't know what it entails? That makes no sense. Why don't you ask the potential employer what the job entails?

The employer said at the end that he may offer me a different role considering my experience but now i have been informed that they are considering me for integration engineer. I read the JD

Support presales activities, including pre-studies
Plan the implementation of the Product Configuration / Integration work
Execute Product Configuration (O)
Execute Integration work (O)
Prepare acceptance test and handover to customer
Identify and drive improvements
Post Project activities perform

Since the term can be misleading, i wanted an opinion about whether a software engineer should work as integration engineer

Everything sounds as they offered you some work which does not require software development qualification; probably you failed to demonstrate this qualification, but nothing can be said for sure. This is off-topic and a matter of particular relationships between you and your employer...

The only way to know the answer is to ask your employer. There is no universal definition for integration engineer. Ask them your questions and concerns.
