Wishes everyone,
I want to extract the basic 3D mesh model out of animation model and bring it on to coding platform. After reading the 3D model into coding platform I should be able to code the model to cry, dance, feel happy. Example : obj file format gives the basic mesh of any animated character. But my doubt is I have to use c# language can anyone suggest how to proceed I found very less support from links that are available online(may be I didnt find all the links).

so my questions are.
1) What are the other formats that provide mesh of animations.

2)How to deal are tweek the mesh(given by .obj file) in c# language( I am using Visual Studios 2010).

i am working in a project which is same as yours.if i get some help i will post here soon and if you can find some solution do post here...other then obj there is fbx format and if you want to try out then you can buy a kinect and you will have kinect avatareen toolkit where you can make your mesh dance, move, jump and all that.they also provide the source code and you can have a look at the code written in c#
