Neither did I know of Linux as a company. We learn something new every day here at CP! :-)

Two things:
1. This is a technical forum where people post their issues and members try to resolve it.
2. Sounds like you are talking of reputation points. They tell your participation in this technical forum. No company refers them as such. Though it would surely look good and positive in your profile.
