how to add a home button that links to the main site page?

how do I add a home button on the far left side that does what clicking the logo does, takes the user back to the main page? I want the button to just link to the main page, but without creating another page or blog post?

Unclear: Where do you need to add the button? On the far left side of what?

Solution 1

If you are using Master Page, then you can put that in that page, which will be reflected on every page and just use one Hyperlink for that and set URL as the page URL which you want to navigate to.

If you are not using any Master Page, then you have to put it on every page.
