Visual studio not opening

Hi..,
When I try to open my visual studio it fails to start. There are no error messages to indicate any problem, the cursor spins for a few seconds and then disappears. Now I cant open any of my project. Can anyone help me??

Your two statements contradict to each other. If you could not start VS, you cannot even try to load a project. Anyway, this is not a behavior of healthy VS, and this is nearly the off-topic for this forum.

Try safemode

devenv.exe /SafeMode

If still fails, reinstall VS.

A glimpse to the Event Viewer of the computer may help too...

Agree, but not all newbies have thoughts to check things like logs, search engines, etc.,

Solution 1

Please see my comment to the question. It could be anything: virus, broken VS installation, anything. Well, try to reinstall Visual Studio. If it does not help, reinstall OS. When you check up if VS works, first try to create a brand-new project, not load an existing one.
