hey,

I've opened cmd and type nslookup to find the email exchanger of a site.

First I type " set type=mx" and then I type the site's name e.g codeproject.com but whatever site I try it times out!

I have set the time out to 60 seconds but still nothing!

I also used a packet sniffer and saw that it only send one packet but it doesn't receive anything!

Can someone help me with that please?

Are you running this from home or office? Do you have firewall installed or are you behind one? It feels to me a firewall my be preventing your from running the command. Check your firewall or consult your network admin.
