i have a web application hosted on IIS 7.0 on some remote server. It runs very slow. is there anything which can make it fast,

Use Client side binding and webmethods to bind data in your application....

Permisson issue when accecing databases may be the issue.

If images are too heavy then it may cause this problem...too much calls to server to access resourcess

This question can not be answered in a single post. Whole application needs to be checked like how you get your data,how you process your data,how you bind controls on the page etc. You can find plenty of articles on Codeproject regarding performance. Go through it and rectify whatever is required.
