Block from what? If you are looking at blocking a website from any browser then essentially you are looking at creating a firewall or proxy software. Please have a look at this[^] post it sure will help you.

just block it, so it wouldn't display on browser.. eg:if I enter in the text field as www.facebook.com and hit Block button, then I can't access facebook if I want to browse it.. this because the URL transferred into host file that will block website(s)..

But the problem is I don't know how to unblock it since I did't found any source code of it. The way to unblock that I only found is to remove the URL in the host file itself.. any solution? thanks =)

May be you want to give a try to this nifty utility. http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/quickly-switch-between-multiple-hosts-files-without-editing-original/

You can even try ARSoft.Tools.Net (http://arsofttoolsnet.codeplex.com/) which contains a DNS Server component, using which you can create a local DNS server and use it for DNS name resolution instead of Host File. This way you can achieve what you want.

oh i see.. But I'm developing a system for my Bachelor final project..
