How to check mail address that is exist ot not in c# without sending email

Hi,

I can find the eamil address but I need to check these email addresses exist or not to make sure these mail address will not bounced. thanks.

Solution 1

The only think that you can be check is that the email is formatted according standards, but that does not mean it is really exists!
Let say we have an email of support@Shahnawazcode.com, it's a completely legal one but not exists (or does it?)...

thanks for you reply. I need to know support@Shahnawazcode.com is real email address that is exist or not? to remove all mail address those will bounced in future mail campaign. I search a lot but can't get actual solution.

That because there is not a real solution for that. Even you was developing such solution, it involves sending email to check if email is really exists or not - and you do not want that. And if you would send email it only true for that moment and maybe in 10 minutes time the email will be gone...

validmail.org uses Sender Policy Framework and Mail Exchange Record probing by trying to talk directly to the mail server. These techniques are depend on how the mail server is configured and may not work at all - as it does not work on my office email address...
