[c#] Obfuscator, the best one

There`s lots of obfuscators, but i just can`t decide. I need the best there is, if possible free. Strings in Visual Studio are not obfuscated.

Secure team's obfuscator is the best one I have seen. It is really very difficult to get back the code.Its is not free one but they provide trial version so you can check it and compare with others.

Just obfuscate the DLL files, with any obfuscator you choose.

You could consider Crypto Obfuscator - its not free, but is affordable. And it has various obfuscation settings including unique ones like method call hiding, method encrytion, automatic error reporting, constant/string encryption, etc, etc

Just so you are aware... Posting a solution like this (with a link to another site), to a question like this (over a year old), when this is your only post in CodeProject is usually considered spam, and can lead to your account being suspended. If you want to wax lyrical on how wonderful this is, perhaps a review on the actual site would have been better?

I will not advertisement for the Website etc. .

I made the experience, many people looked for a good Obfuscator...including myself!

As I found this great Obfuscator, I was Share with all!

Without any ulterior motives!

this is my first contribution and sorry if I've done something wrong.

In my next solution I will correct myself.

It's very important that, people give her opinions... i think that, CHill60, you're in advertising strategy. i respect that, but respect when someone share experiences, it's usefull for us. i've found many doublons on this site, many times for commercial and non commercial product, personnaly, i follow all solution, commercial and non commercial.

Just to give you my opinion: Confuser flags obfuscated programs as Trojan horses by many antivirus programs! It works well, but what's the advantage of obfuscating your app if it deters people from using it?

I guess one could run their app through Jotti's Malware scanner before release, and at least know which scanners currently flags their stuff. Of course this wouldn't help much to locate the offending stretch of bytes. But if it's all "nothing found", then it's good to go, for the time being anyway!
