Session expires on drop down selected change event

Hi friends,

I am having a strange problem in 3 pages of my website. The problem is that on drop down selected change event, when we select 1st or 2nd item in the list, the user role session gets terminated. The dropdown list is placed in a simple table and no complex logics are written in the event. Also there is no code written for session termination on the drop down selected change event.

For curosity, I have added PreInit and Init events in page as well as master page to find if there is anything happening here. However, I cannot access the role session even in the init event as the session is null. Here to no code is written to kill session or make it null.

Added to the above, I have also checked my windows log event to check if something is happening in the background. I couldnt see much happening there to which could cause the session to go NULL.

If any one of you have encountered this problem or have any solution then please help as this has really taken much of my time.
