Solution 1

No, that isn't going to work...remember that exceptions are all C# / VB events, so they are raised at the server.

If your client has no internet connection, he can't access your site: so no exception will be generated.
If you server has no internet, then your site will never be accessed, so no exception will be generated.

Either way: no internet, no exception!

i have develop Management information system for client and i have used used google spreadsheet as a database,so i need internet connection 24 hours to insert record,sometime google server is down,in that case which message should be shown to user(admin) of the Management information system??
