I can't refer to "properties.Settings" anymore in my current windows forms application. The necessary references should already be there, so this confuses me.

-Do you know how to fix this?

If you want to be, possibly, less confused, there is every reason to describe what you are talking about, and the context it exists in, in detail.

I am agree with BillWoodruff how ever you can tell us what you need maybe you can do it without using System.Properties what is requirement ?

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that it's a C#.net windows forms application...awkward.
I'm not trying to edit any XML Config file or something like that, I'm simply trying to edit the main properties of my application, which you usually do by typing properties.settings...

Open the project references menu to ensure this assembly is referenced.
There is a Java namespace called system.Properties.
There isn't one in .Net.

actually you are confusing us 1) is your project in .net C# or something else
2) are you using win. form or WPF or something else
