Why We Are Using External Server Instead Using Internal Server

means we are using eclipse IDE , In eclipse we already have the in bulit server . But We Prefer To use The External Server Why

As per Richard, provide the context and we'll try to help. What 'server' are you talking about? Without that tiny detail no one will be able to help.

To the best of my knowledge, when your server is running internally it is available to the instance of the IDE [Eclipse or what ever you chose] and is within the same runtime. When you run it externally, it is running as a normal server within its own runtime.

The difference is then what can access it. An internal server is available only within the runtime, so you could not have additional connections. An external server is available to one and all, like it should be. So internal if you need to debug and have total control and external for a normal runtime environment.
