when i am writing this ( http://localhost ) url in my browser it is showing
HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found

"its not working for me" is not a helpful error report: what isn;t working, how isnt' it working, what does it say or do when it isn't working?

Just saying "its not working for me" is like phoning the garage, saying "my car broke" and putting the phone down...

Then IIS is properly installed but not correctly configured. Have you read any online guide about configuring IIS for a website? Have you put any HTML files in the root web directory?

actually i just installed TFS 2010 & While configuring Application-Tier i am getting feature missing error.

Error [ Application Tier ] TF255151: Service is not installed: IIS
Error [ Application Tier ] TF255397: Windows Authentication has not been configured as a role service in Internet Information Services (IIS). Team Foundation Server requires that Windows Authentication is installed as one of the role services in IIS.
