system.outofmemoryexception is thrown

hi friends,

i am showing multiple images in repeater control. as the total size of images are about 70MB.
while binding it is showing system.outofmemoryexception is thrown

can any one suggest me how to rectify the error.

Solution 1

Don't show so many images.
Particularly not 70MB of images.
How long do you think your page is going to take to load on a "normal" connection?
How much of your monthly bandwidth allowance do you think you are going to use up?

Hi Code_Hunter,

Sometimes I also experienced the same error, at that time I will re-run the solution then this error will vanish.
So I didnt much care about this issue.
Today you reminded me this issue, which catch my eye to see what and why this error occurs?
I would like to share this link[^] which help me to understand the actual behind the screen of the problem.

i have converted all the images as thumbnails before showing in page.
