Vague. If I submit my opinion and you don't like it, you can downvote me.

This place is for practical questions that have practical answers.

Codeproject has a lounge for this kind of questions; put this question there.

No, this is not a place for just practical questions, but I would not down-vote you.
First, comments are not voted (they can only be reported or deleted) :-).
But you are right, this is not a good question. Not because it is not practical (we would gladly answer "theoretical" question), but because this question is vague, but, more importantly, it indicates wrong way of thinking: even if one can "do everything" in some way, it cannot be an argument against everything else. This is the "blocking of progress" attitude.

1 solution

There are 2 schools of thought :

1) table model : creating tables for data
2) domain model : creating entity container classes for data

Microsoft was following the table model in implementing data transfer support and most of the tools supported that from the beginning.

Yes, you can follow the domain model and do the same thing, and ultimately it is up to you and which one you are more comfortable with.

Good point, 5ed.
What I would add in my comment to the comment by Homero Rivera to the question.
