fingerprint reader application for web logon

I want to develop an application in c#,java that would save credentials for web accounts and other windows based programs. I dnt know how to move forward. are there any existing open source applications compatible with nitgen finger print reader that would save login and passwords for particular web page or program??or do i need to develop one?
