How to remove the "select a value" from dropdownlist in SSRS report

heyy..

I am using SSRS report ,in that I have dropdown ,I felt problem with "select a value" in drop downlist. OR Any jquery when select "select a value " then call the report url from report server/url of current page.

I tried using jquery to reset page url ,but it does not work....

Hi,

You can assign value using default value , if you are trying to select some value,Please next time some more detail in your question, so anyone can asnswer it easily.

Are you trying to open new report on selection or change of value in your drop down?

please provide more detail, so i can help in that direction.

yes , I tried ..but when open that report in browser ....every time that <select a value> tag will came....Any other solution

By Assigning default value ,it will work on preview and run the report ...But When it opens in browser that <select a value> tag is came....!!

Hi,
Arvind have you deployed the report after doing change , to report server, i have already tested this thing on my end if you assign default values to all your parameter and while you open report it will load values for specified parameters without clicking on view Report.

When I depolyed and run in Browser, the default parameter is came that's ok... But that tag(<Select a value>) will shown in that list (dropdownlist)....
