Metro Apps in a Custom shell

Hi,
I found a way to programmatically open metro apps inside the default windows shell(explorer.exe). But I get an error when I try to do the same in a custom shell.Is there something I'm missing out?

Yes, any detail of how your custom shell operates, and what error you see.

The error message was something like the AppManager is not running to activate the app
