Dear All,

i am creating a windows application where i need a textbox in form. i want to use the autocomplete with sql database which is searching in the database. only simple coding.

Well as i can see the comments,you are working with windows app so there is no matter of jquery or AJAX,but you are not aware about that is not a strong argument. There are so many things that you are not aware about,does that mean not to use them any where in future? If you are not aware about some thing than learn it. Everyone here was not aware about anything when they started programming,they tried hard and got it. Try using google.

i have posted the answer before he commented it as win or web. if it is windows then why he put the line (ignore jQuery,ajax control toolkit).it doesn't make ant sense

First of all,keep calm. I already mentioned there that you were not wrong while posting the answer as the clarification is made through comment,hence i just informed you to update or remove the answer. I reported the answer but didn't downvoted it.

You commented that why he put a line "ignore jQuery,ajax control toolkit"? That means, OP is not aware about some thing. In that case,you were suppose to let him understand that these things are not applicable(see the comments above,i already did).

Try to follow forum some what in logical manner. That will make tasks lot easier for you as well as others also.

Dear sir,

i m using vs2008 and sql database.
i have a window form and i am creating a textbox and a database table, named EntryTable which have a column “customer name “.
I am add some data in this column like “manish, manu”. when I run the program and type in the textbox like “m” then its automatically show name “manish, manu”.
