Change numbers to words

hi, juz wanna ask how do i change a number to words. for example

RM144.40 will be changed to one hundred forty four ringgit forty cent..

u guys have any idea?

Yes it's possible but you wouldn't to put that kind of functionality on your stored procedure. By doing that, it might affect the performance of your server, especially if you will have many users later on. Try to minimize your stored procedures to data retrieval and create an application that will do the conversion. My 2 cents.

really? but if i write it in the front end, it will get really messy..but u r rite..i shouldnt do it in the stored procedure..so u got example or link related?
