Generating sales report (using SSRS) automatically

Hi,
I have a desk top application that also generates reports using SSRS. There is a sales report that is generated when user intervenes through menu.
I need to make it automatic, generated on a certain date and saved in .pdf or .xls format.

Please help how I can do it.
Please note it is a desktop application, not web based.
