opening a exe try to install that exe

hi,
i have a exe which is installed on the system.
through it we open a different exe which is not installed just copied to a folder.
when we try to open the exe which is just copied it try to install it.
it used to work fine earlier .

Have no clue what went wrong

Your description of the problem makes absolutely no sense at all. A better description is required in order for anyone to give any suggestion.

So you've got a setup project? Are you using Visual Studio or some other third party program? What do you mean when you say that when you try to open the exe that was copied, "it try to install it". Is that exe a setup.exe? Or just a program? Does it bring up an install wizard? Or an error message? If so, what does it say?

it happens sometimes... add that second exe to the installer of first exe and try....
