Hi, I am looking for some nice make file tutorial. Which explains basics but could also go to a more advanced level. Any hints where to find one?

I'm with joshrduncan - try googling ... only you can decide what is nice for you.
Try O'Reilly's open book http://oreilly.com/catalog/make3/book/index.csp[^] which goes from basics to advanced. It's specific to GNU make but start with this and if you want anything else google

Not a big fan of make files my self, had to cope with them until we started using Qt. I voted five for this, excellent tutorial.
