Hi All,

i had created a MDF and LDF file for hosting this on server. but when i tried to attach these files its giving me an error 5 access denied.

please share your valuable suggestion for resolving this problem

Solution 2

Sounds an access issue; ensure the user under which the database service runs has (full) access to the files and directories.
I've had the same thing happen when upgrading.

Could you please also suggest how can i give full access to the file and directories, could you please share any link which i can refer to.
