Database restoring failed

Hi

I have one database which was develop in windows xp2(vs-2008 and sql-2005).Now i want to restore the db in the windows 7(vs-2008 and sql-2005).I am trying to restoring but showing operating error.
I have .bak file for restore the db.
How to restore the db now,Please help me.

You need to post more information about the error message you're getting. The windows version is irrelevant, and so is the VS version.
