Can anyone tel me, which is the best way to learn Sharepoint 2010 practically? I am not getting any tool to do so..yes there is a microsoft virtual lab machine for the same but its very slow on my laptop, I am not able to perform any task through microsoft virtual lab.

There is not such thing as "best", unless you can define the predicate "better". Better for you.

Not sure about 2010, but I was able to get a SharePoint 2013 environment installed on my laptop. Basically, I installed SharePoint Server 2013 and Visual Studio (2010 or 2012... I forget) in a Windows Server 2012 virtual machine hosted by Hyper-V on a Windows 8 laptop. I recommend at least 16GB of RAM, 12 of which you can assign to the VM (also, the VM requires at least 4 cores). If you have MSDN, I believe you can download all the necessary software.

Depends on how you learn. The best way for me may not be the same as for you. I learn the best when I have a project to do.

To learn anything you should do, create a Windows 2008 virtual machine and install Sharepoint on it and start playing around with it.

There are a lot of books on the subject which can help you get started also.
