VMware,WP 8 SDK. "This product can only be installed on windows 8 or later 64-bit Machine"

Hi I download windows 8 in a virtual machine using the VMware player . and also I download visual studio 2012 and It's working well .
Now I need to download windows phone sdk 8.0 , but when I start install it I get the following error:

"This product can only be installed on windows 8 or later 64-bit Machine"

I try different solution , but it's not work and I still have the same error and can't install windows phone sdk 8.0. any idea how to solve this problem ?

Well, it's a reasonable guess that VMware is the problem since you are not loading this into a real machine.

The answer is in the message. It needs to be a 64bit version of windows 8.

Did you install a 64bit version?
