How to restore .mdf database in sql server management studio

Hi,

I have database with an extension of .mdf that i need to restore in sqlserver management studio i know only the restore process of .bak file but i don't know how to restore .mdf file on management studio please give me steps to do this.

do you have only .mdf file. dont you have log file which has a extension .ldf
